About Decorology NE

Built on experience, driven by pride in the finish

I’m Liam, founder of Decorology NE. My career in painting and decorating began in 2013, when I joined a large regional painting company as an apprentice. I completed my Level 3 qualification in 2016 and progressed to site supervisor, before completing my site management training and moving into site manager and project manager roles.

I later joined a nationwide company, initially returning to the tools before moving into managing sites, working on projects from the south coast of England to the far north of Scotland. That mix of hands-on decorating and site management strengthened my understanding of the preparation, organisation and attention to detail that quality decorating requires.

After getting married, I wanted to spend more time at home with my family and build something of my own. In 2024, I founded Decorology NE with a clear aim: to grow a small, high-quality decorating company serving Newcastle, Northumberland and the surrounding North East.

Today, I bring that experience into every project, combining careful preparation with a personal approach. From painting and wallpapering to panelling, coving and specialist spraying, I take pride in the details that make a finished room feel right.

Being a small business means I can stay closely involved throughout your project. We take on one project at a time, giving your home our full attention, and use dustless sanding equipment to minimise dust and disruption.

Fully qualified and insured, I want every customer to feel confident about who they’re welcoming into their home—and proud of the result when the work is complete.
